You can travel around by tuk-tuk or by Samlor ( Bicycle Richshaw ) which is great fun though most areas of the town can be reached by easy walking. You will find the Night Market and other markets plus lots of fascinating small shops with a wide range of not just souvenirs but amazing Thai Silks and other beautiful items. There are many shops in the area close to the fishing piers that offer an incredible variety of items, many people find interesting items for home decoration. You will find shopkeepers helpful and pleasant. After some shopping dine at any one of the many fine restaurants and then perhaps enjoy an after dinner drink at a friendly cafe or bar.
